Mike is the best
I am so glad that I decided to bring my 4runner to this shop. My truck started acting up in this side of town and I had to limp from down the street from this shop. I was sure my truck was dead and would be expensive to fix. Mike came out and checked it out and gave me a diagnosis. It turns out I just had a faulty sensor and was an easy fix. Have been taking my Toyotas to Mike for the last 20 years and he never disappoints. Has a wealth of experience, is trustworthy, honest, and is very reasonable. He always uses authentic Toyota parts and I have never had to take the car back for something he fixed. Only issue I have is that I wish he would be willing to repair cars that aren't Toyotas.
I am disappointed because there was work done that I did not authorize, also there were engine to frame ground wires not attached. Theres other issues but kicking myself because i didnt take the time to do the repaires myself. One star because the previous reason and due to me having to finish the repairs on the questionable tuneup.
My girlfriend's car broke down in the middle of the night and we needed it addressed quick as she had to be in Tyler for work Monday morning. I'm still new to Houston and my girlfriend had only known a laundry list of shadetree mechanics that I didn't feel was the way to go in a pinch.
