So dishonest owner lady. They charged $5 per ginger we requested. Illegible check with charges for certain items above the listed price on menu, all hidden behind illegible, handwritten bill. Elderly server lady who seems to run the restaurant is discriminatory and rude. This business runs on regular customers mostly. Dont waste your time and money
Unfortunately, the service was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Seattle. When we asked for the check, the server repeated “check please” back to us in a sarcastic tone. We were then given a handwritten bill showing only the total amount. After requesting an itemized bill, another server brought one over and placed it on the table without saying a word. Really good quality, just crazy expensive. You can tell the family is involved and upholding their recipes and family traditions. If the price was better it’d be a 10/10
This was hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Seattle. The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind, huge shoutout to Mrs. Toyoda for the amazing hospitality. The whole experience felt so warm and personal, like having dinner at home. Honestly, talking with her reminded me of talking to my mom haha. She even surprised us with complimentary tempura ice cream for dessert just because she loved how much we enjoyed the food. Truly an unforgettable experience!
