I extended my stay up near Cedar Mountain south of Brevard and needed a primary physician to renew my prescriptions and get some current bloodwork done. I ended up at Transylvania Regional Hospital and was referred to a Dr in Brevard . She was out for a week and I ended up going to Toxaway Health Center. There, I met Carrie Hall. She was so thorough getting me current with my meds, bloodwork, etc, and she referred me to different specialists that I needed . Some were in Brevard and others in Asheville and Hendersonville. I was trespassed for politely asking to speak with my doctor because I didn't like how she hollered my buisiness to another patient in a separate room the last appointment I had there. And apparently getting along with the young nurse who works here is wrong all we did was click over stuff that pisses us off and thats when this doctor wanted to have me drug tested that's just pure embarrassing and uncalled for i waited over an hour listenin to them talk about me and thats not right especially speakin my buisiness to another ... read more

Follow-up to original review: I have attempted on multiple occasions to contact the person who responded to my original review. No one has returned my calls, and no one in the billing department has attempted to respond to my concerns. At this point, it is clear that the response I received for my original review was only intended to make it appear that the management cares about their patients’ experiences, but they are actually unwilling to address billing concerns or even return phone calls. The nurse practitioner and medical assistant were great and the office was very efficient. However, I received a bill that was incorrectly coded and I was also charged for a service that I did not request or consent to (a brief behavioral assessment). While trying to resolve the issues, I have had an impossible time communicating with anyone other than some third party billing company based out of Tennessee or Ohio, I even contacted BCBSNC to get their help, and they could not get in touch with anyone in the billing departme... read more
