Our engine failed to turn over at the gas station here, and Nawaz agreed to look at our car. He called a while later and told us the engine was dead, but it would cost a lot to replace, and offered to buy our car which is blue book listed in working order at $9000. He offered $2k. That made me suspicious enough to get a second opinion so we paid to have our car towed to another mechanic nearby who was able to make the car run again for under $700.
