Ten hours. My mother sat in hospital for ten hour just to be told, ‘High blood pressure.’ You think we don’t know already? You think after all that waiting, ten hour of silence and no update, you tell her something we could’ve read on the home machine? Really clap hands for that one. Genius. And the waiting area? I spent 3 Days in hospital, Every one from the ambos that took me to the hospital and all staff from admin, wards men, nurses, Doctors and cleaners were all fantastic. Thank you All so much for looking after me

You have to be pregnant or dying to get seen in this place. Daughter has used the ambo service and even they dumped her in the waiting room, to be left waiting an hour or more. Won't be long til someone doesn't have the time to wait, and Townsville University Hospital has blood on its hands. One star is being generous.
