Not surprised at the poor reviews this place is getting. It is, how it treats it employees. Poor leadership (especially at the top level), rife bullying, incompetent managers and a general aggressive attitude unthinkable of in other parts of Australia. If you do not live in this hell hole do not move here. If you live here move out! Just google the number of muck ups that have happened in this hospital and how this organisation goes after the reporters that critique it instead of correcting its own problems.
I visit the haematology clinic weekly and girls behind the counter are simply awesome welcoming you with a beaming smiles and those blue chairs are fantastic & very comfortable in waiting room and Dr Royle is simply amazing in letting me know how things are going with my treatment and keeping my spirits up. And yellow shirt volunteers make you feel very welcome & give you a coffee or tea and a biscuit. Professional people doing a really fantastic job thank you very much and keep up the excellent work.
Everybody that i had to deal with in regards to my husband journey to be flying back home were amazing from Drs to nursing staff phios and all the other staff that helped thank you
Ten hours. My mother sat in hospital for ten hour just to be told, ‘High blood pressure.’ You think we don’t know already? You think after all that waiting, ten hour of silence and no update, you tell her something we could’ve read on the home machine? Really clap hands for that one. Genius. And the waiting area? No chairs. No space. People standing until legs shaking, old aunties leaning against wall like prisoner. Young people leaving because they cannot take it. What kind of emergency room is this?
