Do not waist your time with Dr Firas Al-Nidawi, this man should not be a doctor, after the second session of seeing him already about 800 dollars into treatment not including any tests or medicine. I am having seizures not just fainting episodes, and that I need an sleep deprived EEG, got it done, he tells me I'm having focal seizures and that a sleep deprived eeg is 99% accurate, we finally get round to our next appointment to try and find treatment options or access follow up testing to ensure the diagnosis is correct as i... read more
Attempted to get treatment for myasthenia gravis changed for over 12 months by Dr Urkurde, especially as my breathing was so badly affected I could sometimes barely talk- which is extremely dangerous. This meant just needing a letter to my rheumatologist he works with at TUH to decrease the time between my rituximab infusions. Saw a different neuro in Brisbane who wrote that letter at my first appointment then a few months later also changed another medication to something that also helped. Dr firas Al-nidawi didnt do his job properly he only looked at half the problem wasted $ 700 waiting 6 months to see a different doctor at another clinic
Dr Mike Boggild has been my neuro for 8 years now, both in person and remotely. His attention to detail, manner and expertise is unmatched.
Felt rushed and dismissed.
