Attempted to get treatment for myasthenia gravis changed for over 12 months by Dr Urkurde, especially as my breathing was so badly affected I could sometimes barely talk- which is extremely dangerous. This meant just needing a letter to my rheumatologist he works with at TUH to decrease the time between my rituximab infusions. Saw a different neuro in Brisbane who wrote that letter at my first appointment then a few months later also changed another medication to something that also helped. Extremely disappointing to find out today after waiting 2 months for an appointment that Dr Boggild refuses to see unvaccinated patients. As a doctor one would think to turn away a patient in desperate need of treatment would never happen even in this current situation with covid. FACT 1. Double vaccinated people still will transmit the virus just as much as an unvaccinated person 2. The World Health Organisation states there is a 98.7% recovery rate from covid. I have been a patient of Dr Richard White for quite a few years now for migraine treatment. I can't speak highly enough. The Botox treatment I recieved is quick and professional. Dr White and his team cannot be more friendly and accommodating.
After a car accident I started to suffer terribly from migraines. Before that I would rarely even have a headache, but all of a sudden I would get such pain and nausea that I would end up in hospital. The doctors were at a bit of a loss as to how to help me, so sent me to see a wonderful doctor.
