Received a diagnosis that the 8.5 year old fan motor in our air exchanger was defective and had to be replaced. Had to pay the diagnosis invoice upon receipt of the invoice, even before we got a replacement quote. Had to call 2 days later to ask for the replacement quote and was told the motor was obsolete and their solution was a whole unit replacement for $2,800 or possibly higher.
