DR. TOWNSEND IS GREAT. MY KIDS ALL WENT TO HER IN THEIR YOUNGER YEARS AND STILL. DR. TOWNSEND PERFORMED MY KIDS EYE SURGERY. AMAZING DIFFERENCE IN VISION! SHE WAS WONDERFUL WITH THEM AS KIDS AND WONDERFUL, STILL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. VERY PROFESSIONAL. VERY SERIOUS ABOUT HER WORK AND EXTRAORDINARILY KNOWLEGEABLE IN HER AREA OF STUDY AND PROFESSIONAL FIELD. IF I COULD GIVE A MILLION STARS I WOULD!!! 💯💯💯
This is a tough one. For starters the front desk people are a bit over the top. My son coughed once. Has had a post nasal drip cough for weeks now. The woman came around the corner from behind the front desk asking me if my son was unwell...so bizarre. I looked at her like she had ten heads. I promptly said no because he's healthy and not sick. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never met a doctor with such an awful bedside manner. She should not be able to work with children. Went to her once with twin 4 year old boys, one autistic. She has a very snarky and demeaning disposition. I would never return there because of her. Everyone else in the office was very professional and kind.
I don't like her. She has bad bedside manner . Doesn't tell the people the truth. My condition was much worse than she said it was. I went and got a second opinion. It saved my eyes.
I was born with both eyes crossed inward. I had a strabismus repair at age 1 and again at age 3. I was never given an eye prescription when I was a child and revisited Dr. Townshend in 6th grade. I never felt so frustrated before and felt like she didn’t truly listen to my experience with my vision and further eye deviations and just wanted me out of the office.
