BUYER BEWARE Dishonest terrible company to deal with QBE insurance use Townsend have no idea why for thier jobs TOWNSEND FITTED a garage door and installed the completely wrong door colour signed the paperwork as me and submitted the job as complete to QBE how this is not fraud pretending to be the customer I’m not sure now we have the wrong garage door that doesn’t match our house thanks to Townsend who are still lieing to QBE THEY SHOULDNT HAVE AN INSURANCE COMPANIES JOBS when they forge signatures
Hopeless organisation. Had a claim approved by my insurance company and assigned to these builders in January 2025 - as I write this, the work has just completed (December 2025). 11 months to do a simple repair. All they had to organise was for one gyprock wall to be replaced and painted. 2-3 weeks wait times between responses - and was assured throughout the entire year that they were chasing trades as hard as they could. Poor communication, get bounced around when calling, very reactive and have to constantly chase this company up for trades to be actioned.
