Avoid the district! I am out of here as soon as my lease is up. I have lived here since the building opened. Nothing but issues with the unit and the management. Property manager Melissa rude and does not resolve issues promptly. Only person keeping the show running to the best of her ability is Sandy. Old management company was by far better. Ever since founders3 and Melissa took over, the place has went downhill.
This apartment building always has something wrong with it, mold, and terrible insulation. I have neighbors making noise daily. Including one that I think is playing drums at 3am. Far from luxury. Overpriced for below average. Also I cant not emphasize how terrible the management is. Sandy does so bad at keeping this place under control. Very unprofessional. What a wonderful feeling it is to call The District “home”. I don’t think of this place where I live an apartment in a multi-unit complex, no, when I close the door, I am home. The District is absolutely a wonderful place to live. It is clean and well maintained and any issues that may arise are addressed immediately. The location is great, the building is safe and the common area is inviting and comfortable. The staff is so incredible and nice, they call me by my name and this says a lot.
