If this had been my first Marriott stay, it would have been my last! The location of the hotel was good, near the major roads for easy travel through OBX. Do not get fooled and pay extra for "ocean view" it is a joke. The furniture in the rooms are uncomfortable, the padding is worn and you are literally sitting on the frame. The bed caused so much back pain, I had to sleep on the loveseat, which meant sleeping on the above mentioned frame. Great location across the street from the beach with the hotel having its own private access to the beach as well. Room was clean and nice to have the small kitchenette available. Morning free breakfast was satisfactory but nothing special. It is located within walking distance from Bob's Grill OBX, which is a great breakfast spot. The hotel's location is a convenient location as its right off the main highway.
