Not on beach, smells kinda odd old.. lots of rusty bolts and items.. but it's close to the water so that explains that, just needs to be serviced.
Do not stay at this hotel. I’ve stayed in many Marriott properties over the years, but I wish I could give minus five stars to TownePlace Suites OBX. Infrastructure The website photos are completely deceptive. The hotel is not well maintained, despite being built in 2017. There are leaks throughout the property, and visible pockets of mold. The “Blue House” across the street (the beach access point) feels like an afterthought. There was only one deck chair, and it was broken.
