Not good. Location was fine, room was OK. Service was terrible. I'm Titanium level and despite that I arranged in advance to stay until 3 PM they were bangng down my door at 10 AM, locked me out of my room at 1 PM and made me wait almost 30 min to regain access to my room/suitcase. They refused to recognize my status/loyalty, gave me a nasty attitude and generally treated me like I was some feckless, homeless person.

They did a good job remodeling the hotel, a complete 180 from what it was. All the staff were polite and helpful.

Nice hotel. I stayed here very briefly overnight while passing through the Albany area. Right off of 87 and very close to Albany Airport. There's a Target behind the hotel. Plenty of parking. The room was clean and the layout was great. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was basic stuff like premade breakfast sandwiches (the kind you would reheat from frozen), sausage, powdered scrambled eggs. They did have some fruit salad and apples and bananas, as well as yogurt. And most importantly, good hot coffee that was always kept full.

The staff here from the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone here are the nicest, friendliest, most helpful people I have ever met. They always say hello and have a smile. They genuinely care about the visitors at this hotel and go out of their way to be kind and helpful. I also found the continental breakfast delicious and fresh tasting. I really enjoyed the 24 hour coffee which was always hot, fresh and delicious.
