Location is fine. Got in at 9pm, ready to just go to bed. Room thermostat completely broken and inoperable, room freezing cold, and a stench. Can’t recommend if the basics…a clean functioning room can’t be met. Ended up checking out, told I need to call in the morning for a refund (thanks for the extra chore), and finding another Marriott nearby.
Wow I am impressed….. Rooms were immaculate the employees were so friendly happy and helpful. Breakfast was good and stocked as well.
The issue I had was resolved quickly by management and I felt they were genuinely sorry there had been a mistake made. I too, had to apologize for my actions. Lauren at the front desk is very sweet and is trying hard at her new job, housekeeping was very nice, everyone speaks to you. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place, the room was good size and very comfortable. If I'm ever in this part of Michigan, I'd stay here again with no hesitation.
