We stay at Marriott whenever we travel as we are Marriott owners. However, this particular hotel does not follow the complimentary upgrade that is possible with our ownership level. As we do not have the top level. Only the Platinum and Titanium get an upgrade. Which is wrong on so many levels but I digress. On top of that they charge a $100 security deposit that will be increasing soon. The remodeling job was cheap labor, some things were loose. But I enjoyed the rooms layout, and little kitchen. Service was great, they accommodated me, opening the pool, giving me butter, and cutlery when I asked. The location is convenient and the building positioned so you don't hear noise from the roads.
First time at this Marriott property. This is not up to Marriott level of quality & cleanliness. Room, hallways, some common areas need attention. HVAC vents need cleaned, painting needs more than touch-up, glass panels door separating main from bedroom has had glass removed & filled in with what looks like cardboard painted with a spray can. Carpet in hall & elevator area is filthy. On the bright side the breakfast area looked spotless & so did the kitchen. Likely looking for a new hotel after this week.
Great time there. Was needed a lil help but, the biscuits & gravy was good. Nice pool area & friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
