I originally reserved a one-bedroom suite that turned out to be infested with ants. The hotel relocated us to a smaller studio suite and, after much back and forth, promised to compensate me with 2,000 points. However, the points were never credited to my account. Not only did I go through unnecessary hoops just to get that offer, but I also ended up paying for a more expensive room and receiving a downgraded experience.
We booked this hotel because it was close to the hospital where I was having my baby and the reviews were decent. Right from the start, it was off-putting. I booked the hotel through a military website and there was no mentioning of a pet fee of $150. For a tea cup Yorkie. The front desk man was not understanding at all and would not give me a key until I put that and an “incidentals” fee of $80 on a card.
