Our rooms were not ready at check-in time. There was no wifi that reached our room. Those are hotel fundamentals.
Went to Kings Island over the weekend with the family plenty of room ,very clean. I was very pleased with the modern look and service that we received. Free complementary breakfast in the morning exercise room, plus pool, wow glad we picked this hotel.!!!!!!!! 7 minutes away from Kings Island!!!
Beautiful room. Hotel seemed very clean and well kept. The workers were friendly and informative. A few critiques….. the USB outlets on the night stands did not function or have power. Bedding needs an upgrade (mattress and pillow set) not a 4 star expectation. More like 2 star on bedding. And seeing that the primary use is for sleep…. That’s not good. And shower did not drain well. 🤷♂️
First, I LOVE the Marriot chain as does my family! I hate to leave a bad review but this situation was very dishonest and unlike any experience I have had at any other location. Disappointing experience with the front desk clerk who extended my stay and never mentioned this night would be an additional $150 compared to the original 2 nights booked. Family in town. Reservation made weeks in advance. They arrived at 4pm and were told their room was not yet available due to several cleaning staff calling off. No problem. They went back at 8pm and were told their room still isnt available. They told the person behind the desk to just cancel the reservation and we will go elsewhere. At which time they were told they "would still be charged for the room since they are canceling late." We would highly recommend avoiding this place. They clearly are out of their league.
