AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Towne Vision Center owner, Mr. Rufolo, is rude, mean, and inconsiderate. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his secretary refused to wear face masks and tried to argue with us how they were not necessary. Face masks are required in the state of New Jersey. He continued refusing to put on a mask and, ultimately, kicked us out of the store when we wouldn’t accept them not following the law and jeopardizing our health and safety. going back for more I went to TVC on the recommendation of a colleague. I don't regret it. My son needed a new contact lens immediately and Tom not only squeezed him in the schedule but fit him for new lenses so he was able to play his game that night. While I was waiting, saw a great pair of Tory Burch sunglasses. Saw the same pair in Neiman Marcus 2 weeks ago but these were 25% cheaper ( and looked just as great) Staff was accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend
After being charged $700 for a pair of glasses Towne Vision Center lost the prescription and has not returned phone calls or responded to a letter. Do not go here unless you want to be over-charged and receive poor service.
I ordered a pair of Maui Jim perscription eye glasses,in a little over a year they broke and I returned them to get fixed. During the process I found out they were not Maui Jims but a cheep after market frame, the owner made up some bologna story. bottom line is he charged me a premium price for an expencive brand name and sold me a cheep aftermarket product. They even came in a Maui Jim Box. What a rip off artist
average joe vision center Towne vision center is a pretty average mom and pop optical store. The standard selection of frames is offered at the standard price. Some of the frames can get pretty expensive (upwards of $250). The service at Towne Vision Center is around par and is comparable to any mom and pop store. All in all I would only reccomend going to Towne Vision Center if they had some frames that only they had.
