A bank that feels like it’s on your side should communicate clearly, stay proactive, and reduce stress, not add to it. That hasn’t been my experience here. Communication has been consistently delayed, and every update has only come after I reached out multiple times by phone or email. I had a phenomenal home buying experience in working with Mr. Will Clevinger, who was a godsend during the entire process. He is extremely knowledgeable and a subject matter expert. He was always accessible and willing to assist with any inquiries I had. I must extend that same praise to Ms. Sheryll Ann Blount and Avonnia Hubbard who were just as awesome and helped to ensure a seamless process. I highly recommend Towne First Mortgage!
If you want a bank that that feels like they are on your side don't use this bank. Communication delays, not being proactive. The day before closing "software issues", adding more stress onto a already stressful situation with only proactive communication from me calling/emailing. On the day of closing same thing, waiting on information to close. You find out it only about the sale of the loan that they care about as they sale your loan to another company.
