Budget or Barely An Option – A budget Motel is what I was after last month and didn't really expect much like all lower rent places. I can understand where the place had seen better days but for 50 bucks I did want hot water and some heat. Nadda. The lobby definately had a musty smell and something else too. Bad.. Could not get away from this guy telling me wht a deal the place was. Won't be back there. Not a bad little town though. The bowling alley next door had good food.
Oh Noooooo – I stayed at the Townhouse several years back, and it was ok. Obviously a low-budget Motel, but reasonably clean, and affordable. My experience this summer was not as pleasant. It is extremely run down, and the owner seemed a bit daft. I had to ask for clean towels, and sheets, and it seemed to be a big deal to get them. I elected to seek other accomodations. Sometimes it is worth a couple of extra bucks knowing the place will be clean and service is not an issue.
Townhouse Motel – OMG I agree with that guy! I was given a nasty room that smelled bad.The furniture was nasty and so was the bathroom. The smell make me sick. So I tell the guy in the office I want my money and he yell at me. Don't go there. It a bad place.
Re: Town House Motel – Well this was a bad enough experience I felt compelled to write. I was in town for a couple of days and decided to try and save a buck. My room not only smelled awful, and the sheets and blankets were dirty. The place appeared to be falling apart from the outside, and there was not a soul at the Motel. Once I got in the room It was just as bad in there. I departed after a night.

We stayed in the newer portion at the rear of the property and dont know what the older portion rooms look like. The owners (for 20 years) offrer to show you your room first if, for any reason, you are skeptical. We had to take a "light smoking" room because th... read more
