Pub I've come here a couple different times. They run a pretty good open mic as well as other comedy and music groups. It's a good way to check out the rising stars and get in on some good drink specials. Either way it's a great place to go on the north side.

This venerable Lakeview drinking establishment is North Halsted Street's lone Madonna-free zone. – In Short Known chiefly as the only straight bar on a strip dominated by gay clubs, the tavern is friendly, affordable, and old-school, with Grateful Dead paraphernalia lining the walls and a jukebox stocked with the band's albums.
