Recommendedwe go to their office in Ripley WV and they are the best . Anout 3 years ago our Husky/ Shepard mix who happens to look alot like a coyote got shot very bad one shot went through his tail , hip and foot there was alot of blood when he got home we rushed him to Charleston ( it was Sunday) thank God they helped . Dr. Shockey did all his after care he was wonderful he helped and was very nice . Mick is so much better . we would not take my animals to anyone elese. HE IS THE BEST!!!
Dr. Shockey has been my vet since I was a child. Got my parents and I through my first cat bite at 3-4 yrs of age. Has been with us through so many of our pets from the beginning to last moments of our old and faithful fur kids. Very knowledgable Vet and love the compassion and help they have given us.
Paul and Pat Shockey have been friends of mine for more than 45 years...and their parents prior to that. They are both competent, committed, honest and hard working...from great families and with a great family. I would trust Paul and Pat's knowledge and customer service for animal care more than any other. It's a distinct pleasure for me to call them my friends. (Unsolicited comment).
I have taken all my pets to Dr. Shockey for many years. His love and concern for animals is evident and his knowledge and experience makes him the best in the business. His staff is excellent and always so helpful. Definitely a five star rating!
The only place I will take my babies and have for nearly 20 years. Dr. Shockey must be an animal whisperer as he always makes them feel better quickly. He and staff are so caring and nice.
