Called to make an appointment and scheduled a time. Asked explicitly the cost understanding that it would not be exact. I was given an estimate. (Was called back two days later to change the appointment time. Advised I could not accommodate the change as I had parent teacher meetings at my kids school. After 10 minutes on hold they advised would keep the appointment.) Day of service Vet shows up, provided her mud boots as it was muddy. Walked back to the house to get them.
