I called to have a pwc pulled off a sandbar. I was total it would be $330 per hour, (from the time the boat left the dock) plus $24 per foot of the craft. I was 15 mins from the boat dock and when he arrive he threw me the rope, I clipped it to the tow hook and he pulled me about 50 yds to the water. I unhooked and I was on my way. So total time spend with me at the sand bar was 10–12 mins. So 15 minutes each direction plus 10-12 mins of time at the sand bar = 45 mins tops. Tow Boat US St Augustine, very professionally and quickly (less than 20 minutes after notification of our dilemma) arrived to our vessel and quickly assessed our situation. Stuck on a sandbar with my family of six, The Tow Boat US Captain pulled my vessel back into the channel. With no incurred damage, we powered back to Jacksonville with no further events. With over 40 years of boating experience, that was a first for me. Thank You Tow Boat US.
