On 5/14/2025 in the afternoon I was discriminated against based on my sexuality/ gender identity by a thin, white brunette lady who was just hanging out in intake. She tried to tell me I wasn’t sick enough to be in the er, then drilled me for why I’m on my medications. Then told me that the medication I’ve been prescribed and taking for 4 years is probably the problem. I wish I got the lady’s name. People like this should not be in healthcare at all. Worst emergency room ever. They treat patients like trash. Avoid at all cost. Triage center is filled with rude nurses who don’t want to do their job and are very dismissive. If you have a real emergency, RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The whole experience was as pleasant as an ER visit could be – I was seen quickly, received text messages updating me on times, the nurses were all helpful and friendly and the doctor was truly amazing. She was kind, thorough and it felt like she really cared, which is hard to find especially in a busy ER setting. I told all my friends how good this hospital was! Thank you Touro, and especially the Doctor who treated me! She actually figured out the problem the other specialists had not been able to!

I've been to the ER here twice in the past month. Both visits have been as pleasurable as an Emergency room visit can be. ⭐ -And special thanks to Spencer who made taking blood, simple and painless. Thank you Touro! 🙏🏻
