Had an incredible time doing the night tour with Tod! He was able to get us scheduled less than a week in advance, gave us all the important information, and even provided snacks and water in the car. We had a lot of fun looking around with the flashlights he provided and what a wealth of knowledge he has! Learning about the animals and their unique environment was so much fun! We did both the Kayak the Everglades and the Night Safari with Tod at Tour The Glades — and without exaggeration, it was the best tour and best tour guide experience we’ve ever had anywhere. I have wanted to explore the Everglades for a long time, and the private kayak tour with Tod from Tour The Glades was the perfect way to do it. He suggested we explore the East River of Fakahatchee Strand Preserve, as the water levels were low on the Turner River. He guided us through a series of mangrove tunnels and lakes as the sun rose, pointing out birds, alligators and other animals, as well as letting us enjoy the peaceful quiet of the area. We had an amazing tour with Tod last week! From the first time we met him he was kind, courteous, knowledgable, and engaging. We saw tons of alligators and a wide variety of fish and birds. Kayaking through the mangroves was a great experience. He kept my kids all engaged and learning throughout the entire 3.5 hours as well. We loved the floating picnic- what a lovely extra touch!

My son and I had an amazing time with Tod and Tour the Glades. Tod went out of his way to make the experience special for us. Having lived in the area for so long, he was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and ecosystems he showed us. In addition, his excitement and love for what he does very much showed. He took pictures throughout each expedition and then sent them to us afterwards, so we were able to really enjoy and be in the moment.
