I may be the only one with a bad experience but I will leave my review…. We have a three slide out Motorhome that needed slide top replacements. I had a somewhat long conversation with Tyler, the Manager, about the width.. distance from the awning out.. because their quote did not match up to what I had added for the number of turns on the roller. I liked the new awning until it rained , just sprinkling for about 2hours, I was sitting under it and was getting dripped on, I looked up to inspect the 2week old awning and yes water was coming thu it at the top edge all along where it had been stitched along the top, the tough top awnings were called and they said " these are shade awnings, not to keep out rain, " my thought is ? "How hard would it have been to just seal the stitching with a sealer when making it ! "
Wow, what a great experience with Tough Top. They have a great website that makes ordering simple, and excellent DIY videos. The topper came a bit ahead of schedule, and was built to my specs, and was well constructed. Their service was great; I was pretty lame, had dumb questions to ask, but Christie responded promptly, on a Sunday, and then followed up to make sure I had it down. Installed it with a buddy, it was simple as advertised, and is working great up there.
Ordered an RV slide topper back on July 11 through Tough Top Awning's web site and I have to say if I can do it anyone can do it!! Wasn't sure how the replacement was going to turn out but when it arrived it was perfect. Excellent quality! I highly recommend Tough Top Awnings for slide topper replacement. Thank you TTA!!
Bought the Tough Top Slide out awning replacement and was pleasantly surprised on how much thicker the fabric was as well as how durable the seams look. Very easy to install. 2 people could do it but I suggest a 3rd person. Looking to replace my other 3 awnings now. Great product.
