BUYER BEWARE: Signed up for the Long Island event that moved their location 2 hours away to the Poconos. My group is only together that weekend in Long Island before going back to different parts of the country. Asked nicely if we could get a refund given those those circumstances, but was robotically told no because of the finely printed policy that Tough Mudder can change the location of events if there are things outside their control. Paid roughly $230 for my husband and I to run the race in May of 2020 but then the pandemic hit so all races were cancelled. Tried to get a refund but then got a notification that the company went bankrupt (got bought by Spartan) now they’re up again organizing races and used this financial loophole to get out of providing anyone a refund for cancelled 2020 events due to pandemic. Only option is to “choose a voucher for future race” but then they won’t organize a race nearby (plus who would still want to do this during a pan... read more

The teamwork and camaraderie elements of Tough Mudder keep me coming back year after year. I never would have guessed I'd find an event like this that would allow me to challenge myself in multiple ways, and also introduce me to some of the best friends I've ever made. Looking forward to continuing to participate in the future!
