Dr. Hala is an amazing doctor. However, the staff needs improvement. They should be trained to be more professional. Everyone is loud, and they say they will send referrals, but they don’t get faxed. They need to take better care of their patients.
The doctors are OK. Not sure if they are short staffed or just don’t care to answer the phone but out of 50 times that I’ve called since my kids have been patients they maybe have answered 3. Like this morning for example I’ve already called 7 times and on hold 10mins and they never answer the phone. After 10 minutes it goes to voicemail which they most likely don’t even listen to or bother calling back.
Sitting at the Allergists office this morning with my 2 yr old daughter with my referral. Dr. Ruben had given me a labcorp bloodtest referral instead of the skin test that we had discussed at the appt. I don't know if the misunderstanding and inconvenience stems from the language barrier/ his thick accent, that I was given a blood test for a 2 yr old! instead of an allergist referral, then this was completely missed again by Dr. Hala at my daughters following appt. After three years with this pediatric clinic, we’ve finally decided it’s time to move on. While the medical staff has cared for my son for 3 years, the overall experience has been increasingly frustrating. It’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone—calls are rarely answered, and when they are, the process is slow and unhelpful.
