I took my cat in who had injured her leg badly, was told she should have a blood test,told she has arthritic knees and needs ongoing injections no xray performed just a feel test. When I mentioned the blood in her stools Vet Gordan Tan said that's normal can be many different reasons. No pain meds offered until I made the suggestion about it,Gordan said it can make the cat groggy which isn't good. My thought was at least that would limit the cat walking on an injured leg and rest.
