Was in less than a week ago with an accurate sinus infection. Was given an antibiotic and steroid shot along with 5 day prescriptions for the same. Severe symptoms started again so I called yesterday and was told that the provider on duty was different from the one I saw on Saturday but she would review my case and call me back. I never received a call, I walked in today and the receptionist and another girl basically told me that the provider was too busy to see me & that the antibiotic will stay in my system for 15 days. My father was receiving medical care for a diabetic foot wound for over 4 months without any progress in healing. I found Dr Akhtar through an internet search while looking for someone who specialized in diabetic wound care. He took great care with my father and used his area of expertise to get the wound healed and closed. He was caring and encouraging throughout the process. I wish all doctors were as compassionate and as caring as Dr Akhtar.
