It was a leak from an upstairs bathroom that made its way thru to the carpet. They used high powered fans over a couple of days and were able to dry it out and prevent mould. Their personnel were efficient, walking us thru each step, checking in daily to verify everything was going as planned.
I was apprehensive about the noise level of the equipment but once they put up the dehumidifiers, I was amazed at how quiet they were while running efficiently for two days. They also took time to explain what they were checking and changed settings as appropriate on their return visit.
