I had an unfortunate experience working with TQL. Initially, we agreed on a rate of $7xx to bring a load, with the understanding that the trailer would return empty. However, once I actually used the trailer for the job, they tried to renegotiate the rate down to $4xx, claiming they wouldn’t cover the loaded miles. Dishonest business practices, this place is probably one of the most unethical companies I have unfortunately worked with. They were supposed to be helping us with brokering one of our containers (which they have no idea what there are doing.) They screwed up and sent me the wrong bill for customs and is now trying to charge me almost double the amount. This company is completely dishonest when it comes to extra charges. They billed me $500 more for a shipment due to excess weight, but only paid the driver $100 of that, on top of already giving driver unfair price, when I was assured they were getting fairly compensated. That means they kept $400+ for themselves. It's an outrageous markup and a shady business practice. Customers deserve transparency—not to be gouged for profit.

By far the worst broker in the market, they overload us with 50k lbs and we went back to the shipper to return the load since they didn't what to unload to cut the weight and we preferred to avoid more issues and now they are billing us the double of the load because we didn't do an overweight load we didn't agreed to take... load was originally 40k lbs, we had to pay a ticket, drive empty miles back to the shipper and the worst... we are getting a claim bill for $2900 when the load was originally paying $1450.00 for re rout... read more

I had a load with them TX to IA the name of the broker was Brent Ponikvar after the shipper make me wait 10h I been updating him about the situation, at the end cause of this situation I ended losing my next load and day, my dispatcher has being sending him emails since the last week to pay my detention time but he is not answering, it’s not the first time if you have the chance don’t book with this company they will rob you.
