A few years ago I had my driveway redone by Total Paving and Brick services. Unbeknownst to me they broke my water shut off (b-box) that is located in my driveway. During the time I noticed something different about the appearance of the b-box but gave it no real thought. However, I just received a notice from my village this month informing my that my b-box is indeed broken (as I had suspected upon my initial observation a few years ago) and inoperable. Had a fantastic experience. They were super communicative, very prompt and polite and did a great job!!
I just discovered after receiving a notice from my village that they broke the bbox in my driveway and did not inform me when they did the work. Now I'm out of $3500 to repair it, the irony of this is this is going to cost me more money then it cost to repair my driveway. It would of been nice if the workers had of said something to me when they did this versus me finding this out 3 years later. Once I reviewed my cameras it was confirmed. Needless to say I'm pissed.
