Bryan was great, and saw our vision, however execution and management was extremely poor. Disappointed by the lack of empathy and communication when they had contractor issues. Multiple contractors and painters not showing up because of poor management. Maybe they do better in NH, but not sure they have the people in southern Maine yet to complete a project in a timely matter. We went 10 months over expected time and 8 months over adjusted time. Buyer BEWARE!! Do NOT trust this company. They stole $17k of our $33,000 deposit. They could not obtain the proper work permits and did NO work, they drafted a 2 page plan that took them 2 hours and made a home visit twice, they only refunded $16k from $33,400! They are crooks. Do NOT trust this business, there are many other people that were screwed by this company, I wish I did my homework. We ware in the process of taking them to court. Please find another contractor. Buyer BEWARE!
My salesman, Bryan, did a wonderful job job explaining the process, offering great suggestions and managing the job through the permitting process. The finished product, a stairwell, bathroom and family room came out great, exceeding specifications. Bennett managed the site work and was very helpful and easy to work with. Lucas the job foreman was very meticulous and responsive to questions. All in all a 5 star effort!
I cannot talk enough about how good of a job these guys did. We have an unfinished basement, and they turned it into a full living space: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and laundry. I LOVE our “new” home! They were helpful, communicative, and friendly. I have no complaints. 100% recommend!
We are very happy with the basement finishing project by Blackdog/TBF! Our once dingy smelly basement now looks like part of our home! We had a fairly large basement, so the awesome construction workers did an outstanding job creating a recreation area, wet bar and large bathroom. Also, plenty of storage space left over.
