This shop provides excellent service at reasonable prices. Ken, the owner, is unfailing polite and friendly, and Fernando, the shop manager, always remembers my name and that of my wife, and details about our cars. We always get clear explanations of what work they recommend, and they make sure we understand and agree to the cost before they do the work. Total Automotive provides honest, affordable and fast service. I recently took in my car bc Jiffy Lube told me I needed new brakes. Total Auto looked at my car and let me know that everything was actually ok. They easily could have charged me for new brakes. This kind of honesty is priceless.
Always great service here, professional atmosphere. The team will break down what needs to be done and your options. They deal with a variety of cars...vans...etc. This is definitely my go to shop since I've been in Maryland. Make sure you call in advance to set an appointment because they can be busy. I've had all my brakes done, oil changes, coolant flush, tires rotated, wheel alignment, serpentine belt, bearings and lights changed here and never had any issues after the job was done.
