Lovely place from my childhood. We had a great meal and service.
It took a while to get a table on a Wednesday evening. The special was broiled walleye, mashed potatoes, and a salad. My husband and I ordered the special and were so disappointed. Lots of bones, the fish was dry and fishy. Service was okay, but only okay. Creme brulle for dessert was really good but not good enough to overcome the really poor walleye dinner.
First time, went for our 10 year anniversary. Such a beautiful place. The server was awesome, the atmosphere was awesome (though a little busy/noisy) and the food was excellent!!! Highly recommend the artichoke dip starter. The lasagna was great, and the chicken Marsala was done perfectly. We even got free ice cream for our anniversary! Will go again! Worth the drive from South Bend. 5 stars easy.
