The man there does my nails every time and they get better every time. I was very satisfied today. There’s a young woman there that did my client’s nails and they were probably a 8/10, which is pretty good.

The nails were done well aesthetically, but only lasted a week and a half. My girlfriend usually doesn’t lose a nail until week 3 or 4. She thinks it’s because they applied the adhesive to the tip instead of the nail.

I came here to get a basic pedicure w/ gel ($52 btw) and a few days later had bruises up the back/side of my calf. I do have a higher pain tolerance so I didn’t realize how intense the massage was until I came home and saw how bad my legs were bruised. I should have left when I saw there was a $15 up charge for gel/shellac on a pedicure, but instead I stayed and left with bruises up my legs. Don’t recommend. I do, however, recommend Ultra Violet nail salon near downtown. Completely opposite experience.

Everytime I visit Tosa Nails, one of the male nail techs yells at me to go wash my hands in a harsh, loud tone as if I am a rude, disrespectful, customer. Customers and staff all stare at me shockingly when he does it too. Yet, I notice he doesn't snap at the white customers. Mind you, I always pay and tip and my services generally exceed $80. I also never snap back at him and have never given the staff any problems. I am kind and courteous to all staff so I am unsure why I receive bad customer service. I just saw another r... read more
