THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!! We love it here and come here almost every single year! The only reason that I gave 4 stars was that the last time we whent there was a lot of bees and smashed geckos and lizards on the ground, and also the second to last time there was a rat in our room( but they took care of it within an hour. They watched it and released it. No harm was made to the rat and then they gave us a free upgrade so I can’t complain too much.)…. Tortuga Inn was phenomenal. I believe we had 13 rooms booked in total we were there for a wedding. Didn’t realize when I booked my room that it was upstairs with no elevator not only was I given a downstairs room, which was an upgrade there was no charge for this. I’ve had multiple knee surgeries and could not possibly get up and down those stairs throughout the three days of my stay. The grounds are immaculate. They are so well cared for it.
