I am thrilled with the store and their service. They spent the time to work with my 11 year old daughter to determine the right support she needed for her feet as she's been going through her growth spurt. She's thrilled that her feet no longer hurt after putting in the inserts. Even better is that they treated her as their customer and as an athlete.

We went here to get new running shoes for me today. I can't tell you how amazing this place was. I had gone to runner's den before but seriously, my guy (JD) here at this place spent something like 45 minutes with me. Put me on the tread mill, recorded my running with an ipad app and gave me slow mo play by play with awesome on screen drawings, annotations, lines and stuff to improve my run. I was having problems with my outer foot hurting. I was told to go to Road Runner in Scottsdale. Well, They have a long and ineffective process to evaluate the right shoe. Then, they bring out shoes for you to try on but never actually watch you run or walk. Returned 2 pairs of shoes. Went to Tortoise and Hare on my neighbors recommendation. They are soo professional, not pushy and got me the correct shoe on the first try just by watching me walk. I just can't say how excited I am to be able to run without pain! Thx. Trust m... read more
