Torpedo sushi is a gem in downtown Oakland! Luis (owner) and Imani are wonderful people and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Strongly recommend the Slam’n Salmon roll. Sweet Happy Hour 4-7pm every day. Check them out Thursdays for Trivia Night!
eeep SO delicious. have come here twice now and gotten the vegan sushi burrito both times, and i literally dream about it. the peanut miso carrot ginger sauce in it is out of this world. plus a comforting warm bowl of miso went to sushirrito today and it was SO disappointing in comparison. made me appreciate torpedo that much more. keep doing what ya doin! (except maybe try to limit the waste a lil, especially if people are eating in the restaurant :P but it’s compostable paper i hope)

The best sushi burrito place i know of. Clean, fast, tasty.
Thought it was pretty solid. I feel like it was soft overall. Nothing crunchy inside. Fish quality was good and the flavors were okay but a bit basic. Spicy mayo was alright. I’ll def be back for the bowls!
