By far the worst ED in GTA, extremely inefficient processes, bad priority assessment and huge indifference towards patients
I can't say enough about Dr. Karlo Pedro and his neurosurgery team at Toronto Western Hospital. From the very first consultation, they made me feel heard, cared for, and confident in the process. The surgery they performed on my spine has truly transformed my life—I'm in so much less pain, and my mobility and overall well-being have improved dramatically. I am beyond grateful for their expertise and kindness every step of the way.
No one answers the phones in their bariatric clinic. Had to ring for over 20 minutes to cancel an appointment, and was finally answered by a nasty woman with a Jamaican accent who informed me answering the phone at 8:25 was a courtesy. She refused my request to cancel an appointment over the phone, but I was informed by email she had rescheduled soon after. Not sure where they trained their staff to be retaliatory to patients.
