People there were lovely when I went kayaking with my friend and helped us get them into water and stuff, also has public bathrooms which I really appreciate when needed. Thanks
As a Mímico resident I found out about THYC 5 years ago when good friends introduced me to it and I fall absolutely in love with the place. I became a member 3 years ago and treat it like home. Members volunteer to keep it clean, safe and welcoming to others. The place is a true oasis, calm and quiet. Families here share quality time with each other. Wonderful community and very family oriented. Helped me learn to paddle board and canoe as well as how to navigate safely. A very well kept club that respects and cares for the environment. Has operated for more than 50 years and is apart of Toronto’s history. The City should renew the lease, because to lose the club would mean Etobicoke would lose an important community.
