Toronto Film School (TFS) was one of the most misleading, disappointing, and financially damaging experiences of my life—and I say that as someone who has spent their entire life in the arts – that says something.. I’ve been a creator since age five, inspired by my late father, a professional drummer. Toronto Film School is an incredible place for anyone passionate about storytelling, creativity, and media production. The hands-on learning experience really stands out — you’re not just sitting through lectures, you’re actually creating projects, collaborating with other aspiring artists, and building a professional portfolio from day one.
I took the online video production program and it was great for the most part. I learned a lot about the inner workings of film and story, but I feel I didn't get the full on-set experience i wanted to get. The staff and profs were amazing, they were insightful and tough, but fair. I feel like they pushed me to make my best work and we're cheering me on the whole way! Would highly reccomend!
Very amazing time studying here! The professors were all fun and engaging to study under! The administrators were all very helpful and friendly! And all other staff was friendly and attentive as well! I would for sure suggest this school to anyone interested in the graphic design, video game or film industry!
As a current student, I can honestly say this school has been a great place to learn and grow. The instructors are very supportive, the environment is positive, and I feel motivated every day. I’m grateful for the opportunities and the sense of community here.
