Dont go here. I stayed for 3 terms in Film Production before dropping out and I can tell you everything you need to know. Grading systems are a hand me down. To encourage you or your child's insecurities. I literally submitted a shit video for an assignment and I got praised. They hold a certain rule where they tell their professor they cant give the grade the students really deserve and honest feedback. So when you see how they consider themselves the top school, it caused the fibbed the truth in their grading system. Top #... read more

I am currently a term 2 acting student at Toronto Film School, the campus locations are very conveniently situated in the Heart of Downtown Toronto, the classes and Studios are very well equipped and easy to access, the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, the faculty is on a whole other level of resourcefulness and professionalism, I have met some of the best instructors I have ever had in my last 8 years of education internationally, the material offered is of very high quality and truly allows for the students to ca... read more

100% would not recommend its program for Writing for TV and Film. It has minimal value in writer growth and everything you learn is one easy google away and basic common sense. If you can watch youtube videos, ask basic structure questions into ur search bar and have a buddy who can read your stuff then there’s next to nothing you need here. Especially not for half a degree’s worth of tuition.

Classes felt disorganized, with minimal educational value, especially early on. Worse, the school did little to ensure the safety or conduct of its students. I experienced verbal abuse, racial slurs, and was physically assaulted by another student. Despite reporting this, I was met with silence and even manipulation by staff, including a supposed mental health counselor who tried to ga... read more
