Some of the staff need some people skills and telephone manners and stop redirecting the animal in where to get medical attention and help the sick animal. I was told to take my animal further away In an emergency situation where my dog couldn't breathe at the moment. Thankfully the other vert took me.
We had to take our 15 year old black lab to Animal Health partners as an emergency and unfortunately we had to put him down. I cannot express how kind and professional the staff was. The doctor who helped us was incredibly compassionate, she took her time to explain all of the options to us and once we made the decision to put him down, she was with us every step of the way. My 15 year old dog Pippin was having trouble breathing, so we took him here and we received such excellent care. He was diagnosed with pneumonia, and the vet Dr Juspinder was so patient and kind. He walked us through the x-rays and bloodwork, and made us feel reassured during a stressful time. He really worked with us to come up with a plan, and it was very appreciated. I would not hesitate to bring either of my dogs here again in the future.
The team at Toronto Animal Partners was so kind and helpful during our stressful time there with our sweet dog Kenna. She was mildly dehydrated, not eating, and vomiting so in order to give her the best care, it was advised we leave her overnight - this was our first time doing this and I was having a very hard time with it but the team was so reassuring, understanding, and even sent us an update photo which helped so much.
