Let me start by saying, I am sorry to anyone that requires emergency vet services, but if you need them than this is the place you want to take your beloved babies! On February 5th, I took my boy to an emergency vet in Durham Region as he seemed "off" and he was afraid to go up and down his little steps. The doctor said that given his breed (dachshund) she believed it was his back and he should have a CT scan or MRI to properly diagnose if it was in fact his back. She called ahead to this hospital to let them know we were on... read more

If you want to get ripped off please go here. Very undiagnosed, slow working flow even so many patient, easily can go over 4 to 5hrs waiting for simple Injection. I got estimated cost of test around $9000 cad. But it came out just simple thing. They use your urgent mind and sadness to quickly pay for the unnassssary tests. I won't go there anymore first and last visit, terrible

Ideally, you never have to take your pet to the Emergency. But God forbid, if you do, I can’t imagine a better place to go than here. When I saw this big, gaping wound, on my cat Sol, the lil guy who is the very beat of my heart, I got dizzy. It was one of the most surreal moments of my life. My regular vet had just closed an hour or so ago, and... read more

My cat started throwing up multiple times within an hour, early morning, on a holiday (Family Day). I decided to take her in and thankfully, they were able to check her up right away since it was early. Unfortunately, my little gremlin turned out to have a foreign object in her stomach so she had to go through surgery. This hospital has been amazing: from their care and attention, explaining what’s going on, diligent follow-up calls, and invoicing/billing arrangements. My girl is still in recovery but I can’t express my grat... read more

I could not be more grateful for TAHP. I was referred to TAHP after my regular vet noticed some jaundice in my cat Onyx, and we determined that it would be unsafe to wait overnight for blood work to come back, and that Onyx might need to be hospitalized. Onyx did end up being hospitalized with TAHP for three days while they ruled out diagnoses. During this time, I received twice a day phone calls from the vet, and the team accommodated for me to visit him. Onyx was finally diagnosed with FIP, a really rare disease that, with... read more
