History Established in 1985. Torii restaurant is a family own business and is located in Modesto. Our goal to our costumers is to create a fun environment were all ages are welcomed. The owner of torri's Mei has been the owner for more then 20 years. We offer a full bar, sushi bar , and karaoke at our restaurant. Sushi! Super fun environment! Love the karoke. Good times out with the girls! They are very accommodating...we went with a group of 20 people and they set us up just right! They were even able to split up the bill! Good food. Good service!
BEST RESTAURANT! It has the best food, they cook in front of you, great service, and has a karaoke bar to listen to while waiting for your seat or you can even join in yourself. I recommend this place to anyone. Great for a date, family dinner, birthdays, or just a weekly dinner.
Fun place with good food I love this restaurant. it's atmosphere is great and the food is even better. They cook in front of you and the chef's are super friendly and get you involved in the dinner. if you don't have a big party you'll probably be sharing a table with strangers but its not a problem. The prices are a bit high ($15-$20) but the food is well worth it and you get plenty of it.
Fun and Yum One of the first (if not the first) restaurant in Modesto where the chefs cook right in front of you. They flip the shrimp on your plate, clack the knives and just in general, make the whole dining experience fun. Their sushi is superb and they have a full bar. This is a great place when you've got a group eating together.
I would not recommend this place. Extremely overpriced. And the food was terrible. The chicken was dark and white meat mixed. Had absolutely no taste. Soup was very fishy.
This place is not what it's cracked up to be.... we had reservations at 8pm and arrived on time. We were told when everyone in our party was there we would be seated; which took until about 8:02 walking in from our cars....then we were told that people were still seated in the teppanyaki area so there would be a THIRTY MINUTE DELAY. Had reservations at 8. Waited till 8:45. Watched as they seated a group that arrived after us instead!
I firmly believe I will never have a restaurant experience as terrible as last night at Tori's. We made a reservation for 8pm for a group of 30. 4 of our group arrived 20 minutes early. Right at 8 PM we had 10 people there. They wouldn't seat us as the entire party hadn't arrived. At 8:10 we had 20 people. They go ahead and seat us, however only 15 of our party can be seated because they had just seated a large group despite our reservations for 30. Been coming here for over 20 years! Great atmosphere, and the chefs put on a great show on the grill. My kids love it too! Great food! A little pricey, but I think it's worth it!
