sushi smells ~~~ – i lived in this neighborhood for years and never realized this rstaurant even existed, so I gave it a try on Tuesday night. Bad idea!!! I usually go to the one next block where sushi is always good ,but stupid me wanted to try something different so I cheated on my Isono. When they brought out the sushi, it reeked of fishy smell!!! sushi even tasted fishy so after two bites I stopped eating. Maybe it was one of those days for this restaurant, but I am never going there again!!!
A Real Gem! – I've never seen a restaurant quite like Torigo. The sushi is marvelous, but all the kitchen dishes are excellent as well. It's very obvious that the chefs take care to make each meal perfect. The It's All Mine Roll just melts in your mouth, and each bite of the Beef Teriyaki Garlic will have your mouth craving for the next piece. Torigo is truly an amazing restaurant, and a gem of Floral Park.
Simply Great – Torigo's is a place with great atmosphere an even better place for friends and/or family and all the food is for a reasonable price. The staff is passionate, knowledgeable and most of all friendly. The menu is equipped with average dishes Japanese restaurant carry but then there are dishes that are strictly Torigo's and the menu contains food for every taste palate. Japanese food for everyone! – I love Torigo?s teriyai, kushiyaki, and sushi. You can tell that the chefs put lots of care and skills into each dish. Since they have many varieties, anyone would enjoy eating at Torigo, including those people who are put off by raw fish. Those who really love Japanese won?t be disappointed either. Japanese Perfection – I've worked at Torigo for two months now, and I have to honestly say it's one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life. The food is very delicious. I'd never had any sushi I've ever enjoyed. I've tried the supermarket brands, and some random restaurants, but its never been any good at all. That is until the day I tried it at Torigo.
