After shoulder surgery my pain continued. At my follow up appointment I was told "we did nothing wrong." That seemed like an odd thing to say since I was describing pain symptoms and not accusing anything. I now have severe muscle atrophy in the surgical shoulder, and I'm told by several doctors and PAs that the atrophy is due to a primary nerve being severed during surgery, resulting in muscular atrophy.
