I have to start off saying that this place was awesome. The owner Barbara was definitely more than a host. She helped us find the best restaurants, how to navigate through all the nearby towns and gave us exact access points on how to get on the water. Our cabin was also very cozy and warm and extremely clean. Trust and believe we will be back again. Thanks again Barbara you are the best
Camping in the woods at this rustic, "no-frills" motel was a wonderful time for my family and I! The Torch Lake cabins have a barbecue pit and a fire pit that helped us create lasting family memories. The motel was super close to Traverse City and very close to our new favorite restaurant, Pearls in Elk Rapids. The Manager was especially nice and helpful.
My Husband and I have now been here twice and we love it. It is a perfect couples getaway tucked back in the woods but walking distance to the lake!!! We hope to keep coming back to these cabins every summer!!!!
I’ve had the most wonderful conversations with barbara as I was trying to book with her. The cabin and location is what attracted me the most and she worked to make it as inclusive as possible. She was kind, informative about the process and sight seeing locations, and always kept in communication with me. I highly recommend anyone to contact barb for a wonderful visit
