The service at Torch & Gauge is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, they serviced 3 of my Victor Flowmeter Regulator 2425 back on Oct. 2025 and their QUALITY Inspection is a shame. When I got it back, I only connected one to the argon tank and it was working fine so I assumed the other 2 would be the same. I was welding last night and noticed the gas flow is gradually decreasing and then to a very minimal because my tungsten is burnt. Well, it's been 25 years...but why not. Kevin did a pretty fine job of putting' a 40 or 50 year old N400 gas axe back together for me. National had been out of business 20 years by then, so there were no parts any longer, and he had managed to find some Purox valves that fit if I recall. He was only able find ONE new No. 2 tip upstairs that was left over by his dad in the years before National shutdown. I have a brand new Victor cutting torch that was leaking at the O2 trigger valve. Considering it was brand new I didn’t want to put a wrench to it (also because I didn’t want to ruin anything that might get myself blown up). I was referred to Torch and Gauge by another local Victor/ESAB service center in Garland. The guys there got me fixed up in less than 5 mins replacing an o-ring. I was literally in-and-out the door with no charge. I’ll be shopping there for all my cutting torch service needs from now on.
