The wait time was crazy, no where enough staff on. However the staff that were there were amazing. I visited yesterday with a severely injured knee. The security man wheeled me into the waiting area after I'd checked in at reception. Nurses wheeled me into and out of triage. Nurse practitioner Dominic who saw me wheeled me in, then to x-ray, then back again. Busy as always. Waiting time hours and hours depending on what day and time you vist. Nightmare

The staff do everything they can to get you seen and sorted as quickly as possible.

(This is on a Sunday and I don’t head to A&E unless I’m forced to) I’m currently in Shaldon on holiday however experienced some eye irritation so headed to Torbay A&E after a local SpecSavers referral. I was helped to the right area of the hospital by a lovely cleaner who helped direct me to where I needed to go. I was checked in straight away with the ladies on reception in A&E, no queuing (I was amazed).
